spruce it up!

The king of the castle is tired of this kitchen set so we browsed the furniture stores and found a fun set to replace it, but first we needed a home for this baby.  We found one, so adios after 23 years, thanks table, but we must part ways.  You will grace someone else's kitchen for awhile.
This is a before picture of our lounging leather sofa from Italy.  As you can see, our dogs destroyed it but thanks to the Leather Medics in Countryside, we will restore it.  We almost bought a huge microfiber set, but I get attached to certain things and this is one of them.  Happy times indeed.  A little sprucing up and it will be good as new.  This was a huge investment and is very well made.  Some things are worth repairing.  Mike's friend, Adam, asked if we will still allow the dogs back on and I looked at him, and said, "of course, they love their spots."  Spoiled, aren't they?  I'll let you know how the refinished version looks in a few weeks.  Meantime, we will all be rug rats.
